The New England Alliance for Children’s Health supports public policies at the state and federal levels that promote access to high-quality healthcare for all children. The focus of our work includes three priority areas. They are:
- Federal: Enabling effective advocacy to support SCHIP reauthorization and protect Medicaid.
- State: Supporting state level efforts to defend and advance healthcare coverage for children.
- Quality: Accelerating efforts that are underway so that New England becomes a national leader and model in pediatric care quality improvement.
Our regional coalition allows us to facilitate the flow of information and insights on both policy and strategy across state lines; realize economies of scale in communications efforts and policy formation; and support well-orchestrated advocacy efforts. This coordinated approach has also attracted national interest in our multi-disciplinary, regional effort.
