Dear Partners,

The Georgetown University Center for Children and Families and the New England Alliance for Children’s Health invite you to attend “Transforming Health Coverage for Children and Families: A Convening of Northeastern States”

March 17-18, 2010
Westin Hotel
Providence, RI

To register for the meeting, please CLICK HERE

The meeting is intended for consumer and provider groups working on health care issues affecting low-income children and families.  On March 17, we will host an afternoon communications training session, followed by a welcome reception in the evening. March 18 will consist of a full day of information sharing on the status of national health reform, options to advance coverage through the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009 (CHIPRA), and new strategies for moving forward.

To view the tentative agenda and make hotel reservations, please CLICK HERE. All hotel reservations must be made by March 1, 2010.

This meeting is one of a series of regional meetings that the Georgetown Center for Children and Families is running, and NEACH is pleased to co-sponsor the northeast gathering. Thanks to generous support from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and The Atlantic Philanthropies, there is no registration fee for this meeting.

If you have any questions about the meeting, please contact Maia Fedyszyn at 617-275-2871 or mfedyszyn@communitycatalyst.org. We hope you will join us in Providence for this exciting opportunity!

Sincerely,
